ER FF is freezer fan motor failure code. this directs air into the fridge compartment from the freezer room. dead fan=warm fridge.

SOURCE: Brand new refrigerator not cooling

ok what he was trying to say is that the freezer does all the cooling for both sides as nothing in the fride side cools and in order for the fridge to reach its proper temp the freezer should run any where between -0 to-10 then the fan in the freezer draw-es air from the fridge and cools it and circulates to the fridge now i need to know a few things is the compressor running is the freezer fan running do you see any frost on the back wall of the freezer section is the fan running in the back that's near the compressor to cool the condenser coils then i can better advise pleas hold my rating till we are done where did you purchase the unit

SOURCE: Inside top of refrigerator hot light don't turn off.

There is a service bulletin related to this, dealing with deformation / melting of the lamp cover. The fix is to change the lamp wire harness to one that now has a thermal protector incorporated in it (part number 6621JK2003B) along with changing the main PCB board to one that uses a larger relay for this function (part number 6871JB1423N).

In case you want or need to replace the following,
The lamp cover is part number 3110JA1096A and the lamp holder is part number 3034JA1009A

I tried to cut and paste a few photo's, but was unsuccessful. Sorry. Make sure to test that fans and light switches work after part changes.

It is a top freezer (double door) brand new (one month) WHIRLPOOL 410 litres refrigerator. Both the compartments are not cooling anymore. What can be the reasons? I hope it is not the refrigerant leakage...

Its possible that its refrigerant leak issue.Because both sections not cooling, this indicates low refrigerant problem.Because when refrigerant gets low the compressor gets weak and cause no or low cooling in both fridge and freezer section. The other possibility can be any of the fridge or freezer door not getting closed properly, if this is the case then it will let warm air inside and this never lets the refrigerator to get properly cool. ------- Click this link for more help and further troubleshooting:--

We have a 2 door LG refreidgerator.(2 years) We can see the freezer is cooling but nor cool air coming into the refridgerator compartment what would be the problem.

Hi!!

Check your temp. settings, Sometimes we move the controls by accident. Also check the fan in the freezer, make sure it is woriking properly, this fan is the one that blows cool air into fridge compartment.

Good Luck!!

No light in fridge compartment, Not freezing. Light in freezer co

Your door switch is bad.  When doors are opened, the fan stops.  No cooling.  When it closes, fan starts.  Bulb is just an indicator of no power to unit...probably burned out contact in switch.

FRIDGE NOT WORKING

Most side by side and other models of refrigerator freezer combinations are of one basic design. The freezer section does the cooling for both compartments. The refrigerator section gets it cold air from the freezer compartment. Therefore check for frost on the back wall of the freezer compartment. If frost is present there you have a defrost problem and it is cutting off the air that cools the refrigerator section.

I think this problem may already be resolved in some manor because of the date of post. Posts should expire after an unreasonable time period.
