I have a Sanyo DP50747 (May 2007) it has worked perfectly fine for 4 yrs and then one day while on it shut off and will not power back on. No light - no nothing - as if it is unplugged. Any ideas? I am afraid to call the repair guy because we really can't afford to have them come out and with my back being bad there is no way I can lift this to get it into the vehicle to bring it somewhere.

I just pulled the power board off of one (dp50747) and it had bad (bubbled) capacitors. Took it to a repair shop and he replaced them for $60. What did the power board look like? Im not sure if thats whats wrong with mine but everytime we turn it off for some time and try to turn in back on theres no picture, we have to keep turing it off and on until we get a picture. sometimes if we turn it on and let it sit (with green light on but no picture) for a few minutes then turn it off and back on it will correctly turn on. do you think the power supply board needs replacement?
