I have a Hitachi 60sdx88ba UltraVision Digital Projection TV @ the top of the screen a yellow swoosh 6 inches wide with a blue line 8 inches under it. On the right bottam a 3 appears. Double image on the entire screen. Magic Focus does not seem to help.

hello my name is rico, you have bad convergence problem. you need to replace the stks inside the tv, and look for colder on the boards. you gonna need a gun solder, solder, chawick, 2 stks(look in the tv for the number loooks like stk392-120 o something like it) look for bad fuses. that should fix your problem. if you need more help let me know at 602-810-7149.

Sounds like your convergence ICs have gone south. About a $100 repair by a reputable shop. Let me know how you make out.

my tv is green the colors say that there 100 percent but the yellow is at 0 does that mean i need a new lamp, bulb or what?

You have a convergence problem TV Repair cost in shop 285.00, so whatever it may bring needing repair.

Your Green CRTs coolant may be congealed giving the green tube a yellowish look it should be a vibrant green. Try changing the coolant in the CRT

convergent systems.. I callled Hitachi....

it cost $600 to relpace the part... all 3 colors red yellow blue,.... tech took the part out and will replace it in about 3 or 4 days.

I was told by technician that it was a very very good tV in fact he said he would buy it from me for $300 and take it away.. I am considering that ... but a new one with Picture in picuture will be 2000 or more

sounds like you need to do convergence.

my tv has a magenta pink and green stripe accross the top of screen...is this a bulb problem
