Thihs site as parts for many models. I don't see your model listed but suggest you scan through the list.

http://www.abtecparts.com/cuisinart_food_processors.htm

The do invite inquiries so would suggest you take advantage of their Parts Inquiry service to see if they are able to suggest a suitable replacement or locate for you:

http://www.abtecparts.com/parts_enquiry.htm

This company is also listed as a parts distributor for Cuisinart:

If there is a distributor close to you may wish to contact directly.

I don't have an instruction manual (wasn't in the box) and I don't know how to use the slicing/shredding blades or the additional smaller bowls.

A manual for the FP-14C series which the Cuisinart site indicates is applicable to your specific model is available online:

http://www.cuisinart.ca/pdf/ibs/en/FP-14DCC_en.pdf

See page 8 for assembly instructions. Beginning on page 20 is an included recipe section.

For future reference available Parts & Accessories are listed here:

My old mother has bought the Magimix 3200 but is not strong enough to open the lid once it is shut, actually most of the time I'm not strong enough. Can this be fixed?

Cuisinart Elite Food Processors don't require the twist action but the lid clips on, they are very easy to use with a number of great features including seal tight interlocking bowls, blade lock so the blade doesn't fall out when you're pouring out the results a pouring spout, plus a storage box for all of the blades:

Cuisinart DLC-8 Plus Motor Shaft Cover broken.

I had the same problem: Cuisinart sent a "replacement" sheath for my DLC-8E which turned out to be the wrong one. When I replaced mine, which was cracked, none of my blades would fit over the new sheath! I "solved" the problem by purchasing a new DLC-8E motor base on Ebay for only $9.99!

Replace the spindle on Cuisinart DLC-7 Food Processor

You need to pull the old one off, probably with vise grips and a lot of effort, and then order a new one. The new one is a tiny bit larger, so you'll probably need to order new blades, too. The new one slips right on, so there's no issue that would be the reverse of removing the old one. I read somewhere else that you have to pound hard to get the new one on, but that guy must have been speaking about the older model spindles. I was perplexed that the new one slipped right on so I pounded it to be sure and ended up breaking the tip of the new spindle and cracking the housing of the whole processor.

Food processor

I phoned the 800 number at Cuisinart (800-243-8540) and the person who answered the phone explained to me what to do: Fill the bowl with the hottest tap water I have (but not boiling) above the entire blade (including the part that fits over the shaft). He said to pulse a few times, then try to pull it off, but not to expect it to work right away. He said to do this until it comes off and that it could take 1/2 hour. I did what he said, and the blade came off after the first pulses. But also, the water was pouring out all over the counter--leaking between the bowl and the base (possibly because my old work bowl is also cracked, but I'm not sure).

I was told that the problem would happen again, and that I needed replace the blade and the shaft (which is cracked, as he guessed), both of which are available from Cuisinart.
