SOURCE: wiring diagrame for hotpoint gas dryer
E-Mail me and I will send you a copy of my Schematic. It's 2 pics, but they are pretty clear and should help you. I came to the site wher I saw your post looking for a pic of an exploded view of our dryer. Trying to open it to fix the glide bushing. Started makin metal to metal noises lately, so I am assuming it's like a nylon glider for the drum?

Peace,
From ngafm,
I understand that you have,
HAVE REPLACED DRUM BEARINGS, MACHINE RUNS,BUT WILL NOT COMPLETE WASH
CYCLE ( FILLS, WASHES BUT WILL NOT MOVE ONTO SPIN ) TRYING TO GET WIRING DIAGRAM TO CHECK I HAVE RECONNECTED THINGS IN RIGHT PLACE !
How old is this washer that you are spending so much money in parts for?How old is the appliance?
If the appliance is 10 years old or more you may not be advisable to put good money into bad! New appliances are so much more efficient today that they can save you a lot of money in energy!!!!
You need a hands on tech for this repair!
Sounds like you really need a Hotpoint trained tech , so as not to spend weeks repairing, or not your washer.
My father and grandfather used to teach me , ("When in dought, don't)
If I were there I could show you the wiring order without the diagram!!!!!!!!!!
In the USA thousands of deaths and house fires happen when corners are cut, and cost home owners much more than the few bucks they plan on saving!
Do it right, like the rest of the things you did in you life to get this far!
Call a factory service and let them help you.
Stay healthy!
You will be fine.
Bless You,
ngafm1
Please give me a good rating for this fine advice i give you, before you sign off.
Thank You
SOURCE: Reconnect wiring on a Hotpoint VTD00 tumble dryer
most electric dryers have a wiring schematic on the back or inside on the back pannel of the unit it self . try too look for one there and it might help you out
SOURCE: my puppy has chewed the washing machine wire ,can
Lucky that your Puppy did not get electrocuted!
The simple answer is 'YES' ... but since you ask the question, I would highly recommend that you ask an eletrician or other electrically savy 'technician' to reconnect/repair the wiring for you.
The colors of each wire to reconnect must be the same as the original connection.
Hope it helps.
