When it goes to the black screen give it a few seconds after the mouse shows up. Ctrl+Alt+Del and select task manager, then select the process tab. click on explorer, then right click on it and select end process from the pop up menu. once it has disappeared go back to the first tab programs. click new task, type explorer and hit enter. see where it gets you from there. if that doesnt help please recover your computer per manufacture instructions.
Press the "F8" key before the system boots into Windows. This BIOS screen appears.
Hi,
First F8 and choose "last known good configuration".
Second, there is a small button atop the mousepad which turns the mouse on and off; might check that.
Good luck
