I have a 128MB sd card and it says card is locked?

128mb. You probably have to order online.

Your mobile phone can hold up to 1Gb memory card.
You may use your 128mb mmc to it :)

The problem might be that the SD card is locked. I'll need your specific model number, if that does not solve your problem....:)

Look for a tiny switch on the side of the SD card . This switch indicated [ Locked or Unlocked ] . You need to unlock it . If that didn't help , then you need to format the SD card before using it . If that didn't help also , then the problem is with your Camera and not with the SD card . there also must be a sensor in the [ reader on the camera ] which detects the position of the switch. Maybe there is dirt in the sensor. The best way to check would be to try another SD card . but you could try blowing out any possible dirt and see if that fixes the problem.

well if you don't have a sd card slot on your computer you won't be able to read it. or a mp3 player with a slot for sd if you meant to say that you did put it in and it told you that there is a code it is locked and useless till you get the lock code from the last owner

SD cards have a small slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

I think you posted this in the wrong category. Your graphics card shouldn't have a write protection option on it as there is nothing to protect.

If the write protection is on a flash card (SD, XD, MC...etc), check to make sure the physical lock on the card is open (it will be small switch). If there is no lock, then it will likely have an encryption program preventing any writing.

If this is a file, right click the file and click properties. If read only is checked, uncheck it.

Camera is not recognizing any memory card. The issue is with the camera electronics and not the cards.

Sounds like a potential problem with the SD card -- I'd try reformating the SD card and do another backup... If you still have the error, try another card...

Before you can say that there is some common problem it will be interesting to know if your PDA has the same problem with different SD cards (different producer). As far as I know it can happened that PDA has problem with some cheap SD cards that you can buy at every supermarket. If there is possibility to check it with different cards it will be very useful. If this issue occur with different card in this case it is possible that there is some hardware defect and you should contact a Service Partner! Please check this!
