Unlocking your iPAQ
Follow either of these steps to unlock your HP iPAQ.
1.Tap Start > Settings > Personal > Lock .
2.Clear the Prompt if device unused for check box.
NOTE:
In case of a Strong alphanumeric password type, type your password using the on-screen keyboard.
In case of a Simple PIN password type, type your password using the on-screen numeric keypad.
Troubleshooting tip
Device fails to unlock
While using the iPAQ, if you have the following issues:
Device is locked
Password fails to unlock the device
Then, reset the device.

Changing the SIM PIN
For security purposes, the SIM personal identification number (PIN) protects your iPAQ against unauthorized access. You can assign a password to protect your device and information. Your first PIN comes from your wireless service provider.
Follow these steps to change the SIM PIN:
Press the (Answer/Send) key. Tap Menu > Options .
NOTE: Alternatively, tap Start > Settings > Connections > Wireless Manager . Tap Menu > Phone Settings .
Under Phone, tap Change PIN .
Type your old PIN, and tap Enter .
Type and confirm your new PIN.
Tap ok .
To enter a PIN before you make calls, check Require PIN when phone is used check box.
NOTE: Emergency calls can be placed at any time, without entering a PIN.To remove the SIM PIN:
Type the PIN to access your device.
Press (Answer/Send) key on the keyboard.

Tap Menu > Options .
Clear the Require PIN when phone is used check box and tap ok .
