I have seen this!
even though the screen is till on, pretend its not OK!

lets try forced recovery.

have iPod unplugged, itunes running on pc/mac

hold down home screen button & then plug into pc/mac

continue holding.....like 45 - 80 seconds (really)

iTunes (may) finally find an iPod in recovery mode, let off button, hit ok on pc/mac then restore

Hope it works!

I need to reset my Samsung tablet

Soft Reset

If the device is frozen or unresponsive, try pressing and holding the Power button for about 10 seconds. This should force the Galaxy Tab 10.1 to restart normally.

Hard Reset

A hard reset will set the device back to factory default settings and erase all data on the device. This is normally done when troubleshooting methods prove to be fruitless.
1. From the Home screen, select Apps in the upper-right corner.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Select Privacy.
4. Select Factory data reset.
5. Select Reset tablet.
6. Select Erase everything.

Access Recovery Screen at Boot

You can access soft and hard reset options from the Recovery Screen before you boot into Android. Just hold down the Volume Down button while turning the Galaxy Tab on. Hold it down until you see the menu.

The screen is stock

Try holding down the top power button and the home button at the same time for 10-20 seconds. This should force a hard reboot of the iPod touch and restart it. If it is just frozen it should then unfreeze the screen after a reboot.

Screen is frozen

How to reset iPod Nano if it is not responding or frozen.
Hold down the Center and Menu buttons simultaneously. The screen will start to melt away. Then you will see the Apple appear on the screen.

The iPod has been reset sucessfully.
Music files should still be saved, but some customized settings may be lost.

If that doesn’t fix your problem, try a hard reset by holding down Menu and Play/Pause simultaneously for about 10 seconds. A hard reset will clean all data off the unit.

I want to unlock my appel ipod with code

the only thing you can do is force your iphone to recovery mode and then restore it. you will lose all data but its the only way you can make it work.
try the following steps to force the device into recovery mode that way you will reset the passcode.

Symptoms that may have occurred with an unsuccessful restore may include a frozen screen—either at the Apple logo or some other application—or the device may repeatedly reset.

1. Verify you have iTunes 7.5 or later. Apple recommends using the latest version of iTunes.
2. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone or iPod touch, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
3. Power off the device (Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the the iPhone or iPod touch to turn off.
4. Press and hold the Home button while reconnecting the USB cable to iPhone. When you reconnect the USB to iPhone, the device should then power on.

Note: If you see the message "Charging... Please Wait", let the device charge for at least 10 minutes to ensure the battery has some charge and then start with step 2 again.

5. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo.
6. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button and iTunes will display the recovery mode message:
Cheers!
If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, then disconnect the USB cable from iPhone and repeat steps 3-6.
