Hi my laptop presario v3500 turn off after 10-30 minutes...my laptop battery is dead...i using power a/c only...what wrong with my laptop..i saw this model always have same problem...thnx u

if ur laptop become charge open it and switch on ur laptop otherwise button is foulty

Try removing the battery and replacing it and then turn on

Remove the Battery and press power on for 1-2 minutes with out AC power .
Please turn on the laptop with only AC POWER (without battery ). Check it. it may turn on your laptop.

If display ok, then insert battery and use it...

get the cd xp installer, reboot your machine when appear press any key to install windows press any key and fallow the instructions thqt appear there on screen

if the computer will turn on with it plugged into ac power than it is most likely the battery. batteries on these machines are cheap. Mine died after a year

the same EXACT this happend to me! i didnt know what to do so i just a new charger at dell.com

Does it come on when you are using your power cord? if so, then my assumption is that your battery is dead or something is wrong with it if it is a new battery. If your battery/computer is new and still under warranty, you can petition your computer manufacturer, under the warranty, to replace the battery. If your computer does not come on even when plugged up, then there is probably something wrong with the power source on the computer, and it needs to be repaired. If your computer is still under its warranty, then contact your computer manufacturer and explain to them what is going on. They will assist you on where to take it, if locally, and/or where to send it. They should provide all shipping boxes/paperwork.
