Ford explorer 1997

First use a battery charger to charge the battery, instead of a jump start. Second, with a complete dead battery you may want to pull the connection for the horn under the hood till the battery is completely charged.

2004 Pt Cruiser. Put on a new alternator and new battery...the battery light still came on. when the new alternator was being tested it was fine with all the auxiliary things going...radio, lights, wipers,...

If you have a connection such as you describe, frayed ends, greenish color, what happens is under small loads things seem fine. Until you try to pull a heavy load then you loose your connection. Yes that certainly can be your problem. You should replace either the cable end fitting or the whole cable. You may need the whole cable if there is not enough slack in the cable to trim off the end and attach a new one, and still reach the batt terminal.

Can I hook two 12in. Subs up with a 1100w amp. Sony explode, pioneer subs

Yes....hook one up to the left channel and one up to the right.....once everything is wired up.....keep gain down on amp and turn stereo on.....turn up stereo with amp gain down to right before high end speakers start to distort......then while its playing, turn amp gain up about 1/2 way. close your trunk and hop in drivers seat....sound gd????? You might have to adjust level on amp and bass on head unit to taste.....Be careful though....pioneer subs are only rated around 300 watts continuous.....dont want to blow them...gd luck....

Amp

if its the factory radio more likely it dont have RCAs ..You will need a 'speaker to line level adaptor" ..This has 3 or 4 wires at one end and RCAs at the other.simply connect a left and right set from behind radio or from rear speakers into left and right sets on adaptor ..then connect your RCA cables side to amplifier using RCA wires.

Amp wont work jxp340

hi if you got a voltmeter TEST IT ALL ON A LOW LEVEL OF VOLUME!! check the outlets of the amp if there is a signal at all... no? - the amp isnt hooked properly! yes? - check if the volt level on the outlets is higher then the level on the inlets of the amp (the amp is amplifying) no? - the amp isnt hooked properly! or its bad... yes? - connect a speaker to see if its working wont put out a lousy spark? check your system, the problem if probably there... check all the connections, fuses, wires begin from battery and go FWD antill the next device isnt working good luck
