I just did this and it works.

1.) Make sure to turn off both the fan and the lights. If you skip this step the next step won't work.

2.) Press and hold the + button for 4 seconds until the "C" disappears.

Repeat in another 100hrs of use.

KWCU405SSS fan motor high speed only

Agreed! It totally works. Our fan and lights were stuck on high. Flipped the hood circuit breaker off for 30 seconds then back on again and all controls are working normally again. Thanks!

KitchenAid Electric Range KERS807 Oven won't do anything, flashes S3E3 code

Do you mean an F3-E3 code? I've never seen a KitchenAid S3 code.

The F3 code means that the oven temperature sensor is bad. The E3 indicates that the sensor indicated an excessively high temp during the clean cycle.

Please determine the full model number of your range to ensure that you get the correct sensor. The sensor costs between $75-80, depending on the vendor. I used the KERS807SSS02 for a guide. www.searspartsdirect.com and http://www.appliancepartspros.com both have the sensor in stock.

If the range is still under warranty, contact KitchenAid for the repair.

I hope this helps.

I have kitchenaid Kerc700 electric range that had the code F2:E3 show up on the display. What does this mean?

Hello, Thank You for using FixYa. I will be helping you today.Kitchenaid F2-E3 means a button was held down too long if you push cancel and it comes back you would have to replace the glass console. Thats assuming its F2-E3 and not E3-F2

Kitchenaid microwave model KHMS155L, starts randomly for 3 minutes with "PAN" flashing on display screen, than locks up with "F-2" message on display screen

"F2" means you have a shorting membrane keypad. The "Pan Heat" key is shorting.

On these models, the membrane keypad is not available as a separate part, so you would have to order the control panel frame assembly which comes with a new keypad.

In this case, you simply move your circuit board into the new frame. That is a simple do-it-yourself job.

You can find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number* from the tag on the oven here.

At our Web site, we have a video available showing how to remove a typical over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.

Then you unplug the keypad (as per the photo below) and move the circuit board into your frame.

Some connectors may have a lock:
