My penn 4300 ss, the bail won't close on it's own when I rotate the handle, I can close it manually. I have 3 other 4300's that work fine

You need to either replace the bail spring or release any tension cause by the bail wire gap being too wide or to small. Take apart the bail wire and adjust the gap so that it doesn't bind when closing the bail.

My penn 950SSm reel doesn't lock out the handle spins backwards and lets out line after casting it and bail is flipped back how do i fix this

Try flipping it forward.. if that doesn't work... there must be a small spring inside broken. Just take it completely apart on a table. once apart look at the bail assembly, u should be able to find the broken piece. Take both broken pieces down to your local hardware store and ask someone for assistance. Someone should be able to help you find a piece very similar.

I have a Penn 650 SS spinning reel Ihave loss the drag I have tighten it as hard as I can and it still has no drag

If the knob is not stripped, replace the drag washers under the drag knob.
Replace key #'s 6 and 56T with 3x 6-155 carbon drag washers, available here: http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/product_info.php?products_id=7806
this will bring your drag back to better than new condition!
Here's a schematic: http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/schematics/displayimage.php?pos=-4123

Best of luck!

I started mower in tall grass. It started up and immediately stopped. Could not get it started. Replaced battery. Charged 12 hours. Still will not operate. Green light is on. Noticed the blade seems to...

After charging the mower, you must place the safety key in the mower before it will start. On models that have a bail handle, be sure to pull the bail handle back to the mower handle before engaging the start lever. If your mower still does not start, remove the safety key and ensure the bail and start lever are in the "off" position. Then firmly re-insert the safety key, pull the bail handle to the mower handle and engage the start lever.

Note - It is important that the bail and start lever are returned to the "off" position before inserting the safety key.
Give it try, if it still will not operate you may have to take it in for service.
Good luck, let me know.
