The camera does not need a driver as the driver is part of the Operating System for both Windows and MAC, the computer should recognise it as a USB storage device unless you are runnin a very old operating system windows 98 in which case there is a storage driver here

if you go to the olympus website here
http://www.olympus.co.uk/consumer/208_software.cfm?category=5&productgroup=266&product=376&os=7&result=
you can download this

which should help you
The camera is a serial connect camera and what we recommend for Vista users as well as our new software is to look into purchasing a smartmedia card reader that connects to USB port so that you are able to transfer images using the reader as opposed to connecting camera to PC. The camera connection is not Vista compliant.
To learn about the new and free version of Olympus Master 2 software go to: http://www.olympusamerica.com/cpg_section/oima_softwareMaster.asp Click on 'Free Download' to register your email address to receive an email containing a link to download either the Windows or Mac version. This software replaces all previous versions of Camedia Master 4.x and Olympus Master 1.x and is Vista compatible.
The panorama function on the Olympus Smartmedia card is a header on the card that allows the Panorama function to work on the camera, displaying "helper" lines on the LCD display and fixing the exposure to the first shot taken. Photos taken with the panorama function can be stitched together using the Camedia Software supplied with your camera. The Camedia Panoramic function is OK, but I prefer the results I get with PanaVue Image assembler.
The header is only available on the Olympus cards. But it can be written on any smartmedia card using the smprep/Winhex editor process using and a card reader/writer detailed on this forum. Use the search function for "pan smprep" and you'll find out how.
