Hi - Your Home Theater System and your TV should have separate volume controls. You should be able to control each individually. Start by checking the volume level on your TV with your HTS shut-off. Turn the volume on your TV all the way down to 0.

Next, turn your HTS on and check the volume level there. Is it still loud? If so, try turning the volume down on your HTS. That should do the trick. you need the fibre optical cable, that connects from your dvd to your tv and then you need to set the output on your dvd to digi in, that can be done by pressing aux on cinema system remote or function on the system it self.

if you got all the lead you should have fibre optics which connects from dvd to tv and then set your dvd to digi in. you should get the sound. i have same cinema system and i have done the same

you need a fibre optical cable for this, simply you connect that from your dvd to tv and then set the input on the dvd to digi in. i have exactly same home cinema system.

a good way to go is to connect the home cinema kit staight to the tv though phono leads, see if your tv has a phono in and out this must not be a av socket. you should then connect it in to your cinema kit so what ever you watch comes though ur cinema system
