Plug the MP3 player into the USBport. Open Windows Media Player, which will recognize that the device isplugged in and register under the "Sync" tab at the top.Click on the"Sync" tab and and the library that is on your MP3 player will bedisplayed.Simply right click on the song or album to be deleted and scroll downto the "Delete" option.After selecting "Delete," anotherwindow will come up which says "Are you sure you want to delete [title ofsong]?" click "OK." The song will be deleted. When you unplugthe player from the port, the library will adjust the files to reflect thechange. Depending on the model of the MP3 player, there may be a messagestating "library updated."
It depends on what you use for your player. for an iPod touch you can go into the playlist and choose edit, and delete songs right from the device.
Most other media players you may need to make the edits on your computer using whatever application you choose as your library, and then sync your device to update with your changes.
