I have a KitchenAid KSRS251 side-by-side refridgerator that is clicking every couple of minutes and the you can hear an motor or something run for a few seconds. The freezer is defrosting and I think the refridgerator is warmer up. What do you think this is?

Many times a freezer and/or refrigeratordo not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many otherthings that can go wrong. If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing thencheck out the last two tips.

Probaly a fault on water pump.

the problem of your refrigerator is lack of Freun gas
Bring it for Refrigerators Specialist because they are the to put that Freun gas..thanks

Up to 125 degrees on the mullion heater is normal.

Two things. 1. Bad Relay   2. Bad Compressor
The clicking is the overload protector.

you defrost problem or check condenser fan at the back of refrigerator see if it runs

possible motor overheat ..if unit has a lot of lint or has had vent problems now or in past lint may have accumilated around motor and caused it to overheat and shut off.. probably to late to save motor

Try setting the tempurature a little bit lower and see what's happening. check the bottom of the ref. see if it is closed completely. otherwise probably the tempurature control switch had problem.

restarting of refridgerator may damage your compressor motor due to overload.

when you switch off the refridgerator the compressor is in load condition, sudden restart overload the motor, it consume more current so the light going to dim.

solution. If your refridgerator have no delay circuit inside,
use a refridgerator stabilizer or attach a delay circuit,
if you have the the restart delay circuit may problem repair it.
