What size bobbin does a R751 use - Riccar R751

On sewing machines with the removable metal bobbin case the bobbin size will be a class 15, very common and inexpensive.

There are three sizes (classes) of bobbin that most machines use. If you have the old bobbin and can measure it this link will help you determine which class you need.

Hai, I think you put the big size bobbin. So only jumping the bobbin. Please try to put the correct size bobbin.

You should be using plastic bobbins for the MC4000, see: http://content.janome.com/index.cfm/Machines/Accessories/All/Bobbin_-_Plastic . Usually the machine comes with a handful of the correct size and type bobbins. Using the wrong bobbin could result in the needle hitting the bobbin and damage may occur. (Broken needles are the most likely possibility; damage to the bobbin case or timing could occur and would require the machine be serviced.)

Are you using a size "A" (Class 15) bobbin? If you are using pre-wounds and they are not this size... they will jump around alot. The size of an "L" is very similar, but they are not as tall (height off the table when laying flat on the round side... like when sitting in the bobbin case.) There are tricks to using the thinner bobbins... See if you have a "taller" size "A"/Class 15 and if that corrects the trouble. [email protected]

The Emerald 118 takes a bobbin that is very close in size to a Singer Class 15 bobbin, but it is slightly different.
Don't buy green bobbins for a standard Husqvarna machine. They will not work.
Any Husqvarna dealer can get the Emerald bobbins for you.
