Stop mouse blinking when start open windows and over screen color resolution and size

make sure the mouse Ps 2 or the usb plug has a good seating if applicable or if its batteries that are good

I have found that the best way to adjust your mouse settings is to create a control panel in your bottom toolbar scroll to the bottom of your screen right click you will see an array of options select the toolbar option then select desktop

then you will see the desktop in the bottom toolbar select the 2 >>arrow heads then all control panel items then select mouse this is in WINDOWS 7

in XP you will have to select the new toolbar option once you have that a browse option select my computer then control panel then a control panel option will be in the bottom toolbar

click start right click on my computer select properties device manager control scroll to mice and pointing devices you might see a yellow question mark? right update driver

click on >> control panel all control panel items mouse you should see 4 tabs buttons pointers pointer options and hardware under hardware you have options to troubleshoot also you can select properties under driver you will have the options update driver rollback driver or uninstall in xp

in windows 7 click start control panel hardware and sound mouse you will see the same tabs and options as with xp

Click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to display adapters + to expand you might see a yellow question mark ? or exclamation mark ! or a red x right click select reinstall drivers
You might need to upgrade your graphics card drivers

you might have to remove your graphics card to make sure the socket is clean
restart your computer the reinstall it this should activate found new hardware wizard
if your computer came with a mother board disk the drivers could be on it

click start control panel display desktop you can select a different desktop from the drop down list
or a browse button where you can select different pictures this may vary depending on your operating system

also you can change the settings for more or less pixels or from the drop down list pick the appropriate level of color range or troubleshoot also select advanced then general dpi normal size, larger size or custom settings
always click APPLY after making any changes

There is a yellow exclaimation on my network adapter in device manager

This not necessarily cause for alarm. You can try to reinstall the driver for the device to see if that clears out the exclamation mark and, most cases, it will.
The exclamation mark simply means that Windows has found some sort of problem with the device. Double-click the adapter and see what the Device Manager's status says about it. This can, generally, point you in the right direction on what is wrong.
If reinstalling the driver doesn't work then post what the Device Manager status is for the device.

Want to make sure your drivers are in place and no errors have occurred? Simply click start right click on my computer select properties then select device manager scroll to Display Adapters and click on the small "+" you should see the model of your PCI Express graphic card there. If there is a problem with it, a yellow exclamation mark should appear besides it. If you don't see it everything is OK and your card is working properly.
