You need to connect the handheld to your PC and then use software to change settings for the device. There is no other way for the settings to persist a cold boot.

The problem is probably due to the speaker volume is set to its lowest but the headset volume is set to high. Try to play music or a video without plugging a headset and ram up the volume up button to the max. Hope this helps

I cannot hear any sound out of my Polaroid TDX-01930B television.

Hello
First make sure that the "Mute" function is OFF. If it is set to "ON", no volume will be there.

Your TV has a volume lock function included [Global Volume Lock].

The remote comes preset to allow independent volume control of each selected device (Global

Volume Unlock). However, you may change the Volume Lock setting to Global Volume Lock so that

one device's volume will control volume in all other modes. After that, you can perform Individual

Volume Unlock on a selected device to set its volume control for independent operation or Global
Volume Unlock to remove all volume locking.
Locking Volume Control to One Mode (Global Volume Lock)
[1] Press and hold SET UP until the red LED blinks twice; then release.

[2] Enter 9-9-3 and then press the mode key for the device you want to control volume (for

example,TV). The LED blinks twice. Now when you press VOL+, VOL-, or Mute, the selected
device (for example, TV) will control the volume regardless of the current mode.
Unlocking All Volume Control (Restoring Global Unlock)
[1] Press and hold SET UP until the red LED blinks twice; then release.

[2] Enter 9-9-3 and then press VOL+. The LED blinks four times.
Volume is now independently controlled for all programmed devices.
Unlocking a Single Device's Volume Control
[1] Press a device key (TV, VCR/DVD, CBL/ SAT, or AUX).
[2] Press and hold SET UP until the red LED blinks twice; then release.

[3] Enter 9-9-3 and then press VOL-. The LED blinks four times. Volume is now
independently controlled for the selected devices.

How do i get the Audio to work?

  1. Check the volume control located on the front or side of your computer to be sure that it is not set at the lowest level. If the problem is not resolved, proceed to Step 2.
  2. Step 2 Right-click on the "Volume Control" icon located on the Start menu taskbar and then select "Open Volume Control."
  3. Step 3 Remove all checkmarks beside "Mute" in the Master Volume and all other visible categories. If the sound problem is not solved, proceed to Step 4.
  4. Step 4 Right-click on the "Volume Control" icon and select "Adjust Audio Properties."
  5. Step 5 Go to the Volume tab and adjust the "Device Volume" by moving the slider within the range from Low to High.
  6. Step 6 Click on "Speaker Volume" under Speaker Settings and move the slider within the range from Low to High to reset the left and right speaker volume. If the sound problem is not solved, proceed to Step 7.
  7. Step 7 Go to the Hardware tab and highlight the device with the sound issue and then click "Troubleshoot." Follow the prompts until the issue is resolved.

No Sound

1) First check the mute.

3) Check the audio setup

The volume is way to high even on the lowest setting

Sorry I don't have a solution. We have this model and ours is loud also, at the very lowest setting. I disconnected some of the speakers, and sometimes have to put the working speakers into a drawer to lower the sound.
