Phone work great however the Microphone has lost all volume and whoever I may be talking to can't hear me! If I plug in the hands free ear and mic piece they can hear me or through my bluetooth unit in the car they can also hear me. This only happened when I installed the Car unit last Monday! It's probably a bad mic issue. Try taking it back to where you got it from and see if they can help.

PLUG IN THE VERY SMALL EAR PIECE INTO YOUR EAR JUST LIKE YOU WHERE GOING TO USE IF WITH YOUR CELL PHONE. PLACE THE HEAD SET FROM TURTLE BEACH ON LIKE YOU NORMALY WOULD AND PLUG IN THE END OF THE CELL PHONE MIC CABLE INTO THE SLOT ON YOUR TURBO FIRE TWO CONTROLER AND AWAY YOU GO. THE EAR PIECE IS SO SMALL THAT YOU WILL NOT EVEN FEEL IT IN YOUR EAR, THIS WAY YOU GET ALL OF THE GREAT SOUNDS FROM THE HEAD SET AND CAN ADJUST ITS VOLUME BUT YOU CAN ALSO CHAT THRU THE MIKE AT THE SAME TIME. Possible failure of the microphone in the phone. You can try and use a hands-free headphone connection to confirm . I f so the mic must be checked for replacement.

Looks like problem is on your side. This is may due to a faulty microphone on your phone or Mic is set to be on mute.


1. Please check that nothing is clotted on Microphone. This is a small hole on bottom side of your phone.
2. Please check that other party can hear you when you're using a Hands-free / Bluetooth ear phones with mic on it. If they can hear you, when you use a hands-free, problem is with your phone's on-board microphone.
3. You can also check that, while on a call, your mic is not set on Mute. This can be done as on call, select Options , look for Mute / Unmute. If Unmute is present, select it unmute the mic.
4. You can use Mute button Provided on the top side of the phone. While on the call, press this button to Mute / Unmute the mic. If the mic is set to Mute mode, other party won't hear any sound from you.


Hope this will solve the issue.

If your X3's microphone is working, you should be able to hear yourself in the headset when you talk into it. Plug the chat-controller cable in both the headset and the controller, then talk into the X31 mic. Can you hear yourself in the headset? If yes, then the microphone is OK but you probably need a new chat-controller cable. If not, then the microphone may be broken and you should contact Turtle Beach tech support at [email protected].

at your taskbar find the speaker icon near the clock

then right click it then choose adjust audio properties

then adjust your microphone volume

also check the microphone plug if it is plugged to the right port

Hello,

the mouth piece of your phone is faulty. This needs to be replaced for other people to hear you when on calls.

You can use an hands free (ear phone) to make and receive calls still you replace the mouth piece.

Can you try using the X1 mic on your PC? Green plug to green jack, pink plug to pink jack, USB plug to USB port. Talk into the X1 mic. Can you hear your voice? If yes, then you probably have a bad chat-controller cable. If no, then your X1 mic may not be working. If that's the problem, you should contact Turtle Beach tech support for help. Hmm...i have the exact same phone...though this has never happenend to me. The only thing i can suggest is maybe look at the microphone and see if there is anything clogged in it? It not, i am not really sure hwat to say? Maybe take it to youre local ATT store and have them take a look, or request a new phone?
