It's been a long time since I've seen this model, but with Acer's I remember the button generally being either near the power button (would be a button with an LED light behind it) or as a little switch on the front, lower side (basically under the touchpad)
The button itself will have an icon that looks like a radio tower with little' ) ) )' coming off of it in in different sizes. If you don't see it, look at the F keys for the same symbol, then use the Fn button and press that key. I know you said you looked everywhere but hopefully this helps.
Sometimes there is a software switch also that will allow you to turn on / off the wireless, verify that when you try and connect to a wireless it doesn't ask if you want the computer to flip the switch for you.
Testimonial: "WOOHOO!!! Nursejason is the ACER big poppa!!! His solution worked.... I feel stupid now that I know it was that simple, Thanks so much!"
The button in question is to the immediate right of your power button in a group of 3 buttons
(item 3) right in the middle of the keyboard just under the screen and acer logo as shown below....
Will not connect to the internet. It just started - splines_5.jpgrc="/uploads/images/splines_5.jpg" alt="splines_5.jpg" class="h_mi" />
Hi, in the upper side of the keyboard there are 3 centered bottons, the one to the right active/deactive WiFi (it has a parabolic antenna icon), when it's active there should be an blue indicator on, if not just press the botton to turn on the WiFi feature.
I did a quick search and it might be the F3 key. Only do it if it looks like an antennae with signals emitting from it.
Depending on your version of Windows, you may be able to get to the "Manage wireless adapter" screen and right click on your wireless adapter and turn it on from there.
Please leave feedback if you found this solution helpful. Thanks.
Located beside the keyboard are application buttons. These buttons are called easy-launch buttons. They are: WLAN, Internet, email, Bluetooth, Arcade and Acer Empowering Technology.
