Can uninstall and try installing it again and if doesnt help look in the back of the game and it has expectations and look if you have everything that the game requires

I would re-install direct X. I would also advise you will get more accurate help if you post in the correct section. The "Computer Servers" section is not the place for game related issues. PC Laptop or PC Desktop would be far better.
One of the files necessary for the game to initialize is missing. you may need to uninstall the game and make sure your OS is updated with the most recent frame work.

Installation is not the problem. It's the thing that it is OLD game already as people are on Call of Duty 5. Anyway, you might want to download this patch and see if it does the job: http://www.gameupdates.org/details.php?id=2548
The same exact thing has happened to me with Call of Duty. It is extremely frustrating. If the Xbox is working with other games and not Call of Duty, then it means that the call of duty disc is ruined. You simply have to buy a new one. Before buying a new one, however try cleaning the disc with disc cleaner, because that has worked before. Good luck, and any further questions let me know so i can help you resolve this issue.
Try reinstalling the game. try to reduce the settings for the game in display options of the game, like trilinear filters, buffers , etc,etc... also check wether you have the updated version of direct x and check for your graphics or video card compatibility...
