SOURCE: rheem water heater pilot light goes out
REPLACING THE SPARK IGNITOR WOULD BE MY FIRST GUESS .
SOURCE: burner & pilot went out, will not go without having a gap in the burner access door
Replace the pilot generator and everything will work again. It is a problem with it sensing the flame from the pilot and when the generator stops working it tends to knock everything out
SOURCE: 1 unit intermittently shuts off and other won't ignite
if you have the exhaust run together it will not light up,, they have to be seperate,, the computer board sences the unburnt gasses and will not allow it to start,,
SOURCE: water heater pilot wont stay lit
try cleaning the top of the pilot light jet if you can get to with small brush then blow it clean with a compressor.
