SOURCE: Paper Jam in OKI B4300 Led Printer

This printer is designed with a dual toner/drum chamber. Do not separate these two parts. Upon opening the lid, you will find the toner/drum assembly right in front of you. Pick it up with both hands and pull straight up. After that, you should be able to take the jammed papers. Know this: once a paper is jammed, printing another paper will NEVER take the first out. Just make sure to remove the complete papers. If they break, make sure you extract all the pieces.

SOURCE: pale smudges regularly spaced down left margin, 1.5 inches apart

Hi:

Since you have already replace the toner cartridge then the most likely culprit is the fuser assy. You can test this by trying to print something and stop it by opening the cover just as the paper is trying to pass under the toner cart. Remove the toner cart carefully and look at the unfused print on the paper. Do you see the faint smudges? If not, then the problem lies with the fuser assy. This is the unit that gets hot and fuses the toner to the paper. If this is the case you will need to have a tech replace it for you.

Good Luck

SOURCE: oki b410d printer is printing all black pages.

try checking the ink cartridge if it is not faulty. If it is then change it with a new one. Do a maintenance task located in your printers configuration and reboot the printer.

Hope this works. :)
thank you..
just pm me if problem still occurs.

OKI b410d error 382

That is a paper jam code. Reopen the cover, and clear all paper jams. Close the cover, and then I would reset the machine by turning it off and on if the code continues. http://www.german-parts.de/oki_manual/paperjam/stau_b400_series.pdf

Oki b410d printer has a new toner cartridge however it is still printing inconsistently on the page?

Open the lid. Mounted under the lid you should see a horizontal bar which is actually the laser [LED]. Once your toner cart has emitted, enough loose toner has accumulated on the laser that it can no longer draw on the page correctly. Using something soft and barely dampened with water [use a soft cotton cloth, NO PAPER PRODUCTS, no dirty rags, etc] and wipe gently from L to R to remove the loose toner. Turn to a clean section of the cloth and do it once more. GENTLY! No pressure, do not scrub it, or you can damage the laser. Close the lid and print something. You should be back to good now.

How do i fix error 131 on oki printer

Please confirm the model and error code. I have checked the technical manual for the B410d and there is no reference to error 131.

Odd shaped smudge every 2 1/4 inches on left side of every copy about 3/4" in from left side of paper. Replaced cartridge and still have problem.

A repetitive defect at 2.2 inches indicates a bad fuser hot roller film. This is the teflon coated plastic film that covers the heating element and assists in bonding toner to the page. It will require replacement, unless you can see that something is stuck on the film., however in most cases based on the age of the printer you will likely need to replace the film.

4 - black ink smudges (1/32" wide x 1/16" high) in right margin

Very nice trouble shooting. The image defect you describe point to the OPC or drum unit this is essentially the toner cart. In your case black. Measureing the distance between repetitive defects is a sure way of diagnosing problems such as yours. Again nice work.

Google repetitive defect ruler for your model to help in the future.

Hope this helps
