Hello,

to create a proximity alarm for one of your waypoints is a very simple process. First you will want to create a waypoint for you destination. Be sure to name the waypoint something that will remind you of the destination. After this is done go to your main menu by pressing the "menu" button 2 times. Navigate to the "proximity" icon select it by pressing "enter" it will now allow you to create a proximity alarm select the open space and press "enter" it will now give you a list of items you can use select "waypoint" using "enter" and pick the waypoint you created earlier. now all you will have do is select a radius for thee alarm. You can also use the other items to create your proximity alarm such as cites addresses and any other navigation category.

Hope this helps!

How to set the distance to destination

Not sure about this one, but most of these gps units have a sub menu in them that will ask you what to display. You activate them in one of the settings menu, and it will show you how far to destination automatically. It is programed right into the unit, just not sure how you do it any more since i don't use Magellan anymore. Sorry. Hope this helps

It won't accept the address I'm going to only part of the house numbers

Some GPS maps have incomplete records of the the numbers of the streets. In other words, let's say you're looking for 732 Main Street. The GPS map may only have Main Street number houses up to 500 and it will not allow you to enter any higher house number. This is fairly common with many GPS, regardless of make.

Your best options are:
1) Set up the address you are going to the closest one that your GPS will allow. In the above example, set the GPS to take you to 500 Main Street. You'll be about 2 blocks from your destination, so you should be able to find your destination without any problems.

2) If your GPS map is more than 3 years old, you MAY benefit from an updated map, but as I mentioned above, this type of errors is relatively common with most GPS and updating to a newer map many not solve the problem.

Hope this helps. If it doesn, please report back so that I can be of further assistance.

I CHANGED MY PIXMA INK CARTRIDGE AND HOW TO RESTART?

Here's what you can do....

METHOD #1 - Easiest, but it disables the ink tank level indicators.
1) Ignore the low ink indicator, and press the RESET BUTTON to continue printing. If you press and hold the reset button for 5+ seconds, it will disable the counter for that particular ink tank. Refill tank now.

2) Repeat as needed.
You will get a dire warning that this will void you warranty, blah blah blah. If you do need to take your printer in during warranty and you've disabled ink tank counting, simple reset the entire printer as describe below for the wate tank warning, and nobody will ever know. SAVE YOUR CANON CARTS with a bit of ink left in- your printer will need to have Canon carts installed for warranty service.

3) Eventually you may be warned that the tank is empty. Press reset as above to disable and continue printing.

If you think this entire thing is ridiculous- you are right.
Get an earlier model that takes un-chip carts, like an ip6000, or ip3000, or i960. Much simpler and you get to use the ink tank indicators after refilling.

************

You can reset the entire printer with the WASTE TANK reset (below) when you need to clean or change the waste tank PAD (its really not a tank) See the above instructions for the i960 and similar for other Canon printer waste tank changes.
Here's the ip4200 reset options:
1) With the printer power turned off, while pressing
the Resume/Cancel button, press and hold the Power
button. (DO NOT release the buttons. The Power LED
lights in green to indicate that a function is
selectable.)

2) While holding the Power button, release the

button.)

3) While holding the Power button, press the
Resume/Cancel button 2 times, and then release both
the Power and Resume/Cancel buttons. (Each time the

Resume/Cancel button is pressed, the Alarm and
Power LEDs light alternately, Alarm in orange and Power
in green, starting with Alarm LED.)

4) When the Power LED lights in green, press the
