I am using Nokia 2690. I copied songs from my computer to my memory card. When I trie to play them a pop-up message reading "file format not supported" appears. What could be the problem considering I already copied other songs of the same format and they are playing well?

I had the same problem with my phone. Your phone probably doesn't support mp3 files with a higher bitrate than 192 kbps. You should convert your non-supported mp3s to a lower bitrate. To identify which bitrate is supported right click to a music file wich is playeable select properties and then details, there you should find: bitrate: x kbps. Try looking at more file's bitrate to find which one is the highest. For converting the non-supported files to lower bitrates please follow: http://www.mgtek.com/dopisp/manual/html/dptskConvertMP3sToALowerBitrate.html

I hope it helps.

Gud am sir, i have a problem with my cellphones model nokia 3110c, i cannot used my music player, every time i open it, always appear no music files found, even i had to much song files in my memory...

First Solution:
Try bluetooth, ask your friend(s) to send you song via bluetooth then save it to your phone memory or memory card, if it is working meaning there is no problem with your cellphone. It's in the audio format!
Second Solution:
Backup all of your songs then copy one(1) song and convert it using audio and video converter into mp3 format. Though your songs in your mp3 player are already an mp3 format. Some cellphone can not read it as mp3, after converting copy the song that you converted as mp3 format into your memory card but before that format your memory card first. Good day

Bluetooth

Back up first files on your memory card on your computer. then format the memory card on the pc. Then put back the formatted memory card and format it again on the phone. Take out your memory card then put it back again on your pc to copy your previous files. This should work.

Memory cards need also formatting same as HDD's

Hope this helps...
