Warning: Do not enter any wrong unlock unlock codes on your Nokia E71-1 mobile phones. If you enter over a certain amount of wrong unlock codes on your mobile phone, your phone may get hard locked and sometimes become unusable.

1 - Switch on your Nokia E71-1 without any sim card.
2 - Don't bother as to what is displayed on your Nokia E71-1.
3 - Compose #pw+CODE+1#.
4 - The Nokia E71-1 would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off" and will be unlocked!

Note :For Nokia E71-1 mobile phones locked to the network Fido or Rogers in Canada follow these instructions :
1 - Switch on your Nokia E71-1 without any sim card.
2 - Don't bother as to what is displayed on your Nokia E71-1.
3 - Compose #pw+CODE+7#.
4 - The Nokia E71-1 would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off" and will be unlocked!

The letter p appears if you press the button star(*) three times quickly
The letter w appears if you press the button star(*) four times quickly
The symbol + appears if you press the button star(*) two times quickly
The CODE you need to enter is the unique unlock code for your Nokia E71-1

Try this torubleshooting procedure

1. After turning on your mobile phone, press: *#865625#
2. Press Yes to continue.
3. Enter the 16 digit Subsidy Unlock Code
4. Enter the 16 digit Subsidy Unlock Code, again. Device should say: "Network Lock Deactivated" Phone may automatically reboot

*The 16 digit code can be obtained by calling the Mobile Operator Customer Care Department and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code. Alternatively, you can go online and seek out a Subsidy Unlock site.
To obtain the IMEI number press *#06# on your mobile device.

You may try default phone and security code to remove restrictions.
ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000

type *#06# on your phone to get it.

When you place a new or a existing SIM card from another phone provider into your mobile phone and it asks for a Security code then :-
This phone is locked to the original mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (security code) for this phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone.
They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone.
Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in this phone or sign up with another phone provider using this phone.
You could ring the phone provider and ask for the unlock security code because you are going overseas and wish to use your phone with a prepaid SIM card from another country. This maybe a free service.
The other way to get your phone unlock is to use a phone unlocking company on the Internet, they usually charge a couple of Dollars for their services. Use Google and search for "Security unlocking code” in your area.

my motorola l6 is keep on restarting when ever i press a key so i thought it might get better to reformat my phone so i need the format code for it.

if your phone is new or the codes hadn't been altered, try entering 0000. hope this helps!
