We have a Panasonic Hybrid IP-PBX M/N: KXTDA50 telephone system with KX-DT321B phones. We already have some phones connected to the PBX via the "digital" port on the back of the phone (I assume that this is the "Digital XDP" feature) in order to expand our number of extensions. I would like to add one more extension via the same method (from a phone that does not yet have a second phone plugged into the Digital port on the back of the phone) but the manuals I have (i.e. User, Installation, Feature and Programming) are not clear on how to accomplish this. Is there another manual that I need or is this a simple change to make to the system? Note that I already tried just plugging the new phone in, but it apparently does not automatically see the phone. Also, I am not sure how to add the additional extention to the PBX as this is not clearly explained in the manuals either. Thanks in advance for your help.

If you have all the manuals, and one of them happens to be the PTPM, check out program 600. It's the place you turn the DXDP on.

Sorry I couldn't up load the manual for you but here's the link for you: http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Phones-Fax/Business-Home-Systems/System-Phones/Digital-Hybrid-IP-PBX-Phones/model.KX-T7630 You'll find all the programming settings on Pg 9. You'll need your "Pin code". I could not find anything on how to clear it if you forget it. You may need to go to a service center or call one. Good luck
