I am trying to get the round access panel on the front of my machine open to see if there is a problem in the drainage. The washer is not able to drain the water inside and i keep getting an error message code E:04.

There is a small hole in round acess door, use a pointed tool or instrument of improvision to stick into hole, turn whole access door. once opened(removed) you will see a manual drain . turn the large cap inside cc wise.have plenty of towels ready.once water drains make sure it is clean inside (of lint,or any other foreign objects. reassemble and se if it works.

Door wont open; water not draining. What's going on?

THe water must be totally drained and it is not. So go back into the area that you used to open the door and look for the drain. If you use that manual drain have a wet vacuum cleaner ready there will be a flood. When you take that drain plug out there should be a filter attached and you will find that a sock or something is plugging it up and not letting it drain. There is a chance the pump motor is bad but usually it is plugged drain.

Won't drain the water anymore

Drain motor is usually located on the bottom of the machine. Hopefully you have an access panel separate from the main door panel. Should be a hose coming in and a hose going out. Put the machine in spin cycle and see if you can feel the pump spinning. If the pump is very hot, chances are something is blocking it. They will usually have an access port that can be opened up just for this reason, be ready to catch the water when you open it up, and please turn the machine off first. If you get no sign of life from your pump it may have died. Also check for any blockages in the drain lines. All of this should be easily accomplished with a couple screwdrivers and towels

Samsung washing machine wf7604naw door is stuck and the lock sign won't go away- how do i force the door to open- my cloths are locked inside

It can be the door lock servo which is a ****** to reach or tamper with as it's a sealed unit, I sorted mine by draining via the filter port at the bottom right front behind the rectangular front panel ( this will normally fill a small saucepan half way when machine is level which is the best way to drain although you will be using a cellulose sponge to soak the water from the floor rather than directly into the pan) then tilting from the front 45 degrees or more backwards. This all being done with power off and water inlet pipe disconnected as this can and will snap readily. Having rested back down to a level try the door again and smile.

My bosch washing machine model WFVC6450Uc/19 FD 9002/901476 has E:13 flashing. i was able to drain the water manually but now the door locked there is beeping sound when i try to start it. how to fix it

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

E13 error in your Bosch WFVC washer is a drain error and is displayed when the drain time exceeds & the washer is unable to drain so the door won't open sometimes when this error is displayed. You will have to clean the drain trap in the bottom right hand corner. You can stick a straighten paper clip in the access panel located inside the front bottom panel through the whole and then turn the access panel counter clockwise to unscrew the plastic drain cap behind it. After everything is cleaned and the error returns then replacing the drain pump is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Hi, I have a zanussi wwashing machine model= ghg1200apm. The door won't open. I plugged out the machine after the wash and when i plugged it in again, the door wont open. Can you help me?

Hi.

The door does not open because there is water inside the machine. To open the door you need to empty the tub first.

To empty the tub disconnect power, open the door at the bottom of the machine's front side, unscrew the drain filter cap and collect water using a container.

Usually that is enough to allow the door to open. If the door does not get released, try running a cycle again.

If still no luck, then the door is locked either because the pressure switch detecting water level is clogged with soap or because the power surge has damaged some component. In that case the machine must be partially disassembled to reach the back of the door opening mechanism. The door latch is reachable either from drain filter access or from top of the appliance.

Emptying water through the drain filter and/or restarting a cycle usually is enough to release the door lock.

Regards.

The door remains locked

Whirlpool-made Front Loading such as the Kenmore Elite washing machines use a door lock and switch assembly having a tab that can be pulled manually for emergency opening of the door. This tab can be accessed with the removal of the lower front access panel. Disconnect power to the washer and drain the water from the tub before accessing it.

Remove the three screws attaching the lower front access panel to the cabinet then pull the panel down and off the cabinet. You can prop up the bottom front edge of the washer or cushion and lean it against the wall to access and remove the screws more easily.

Once the panel is off, reach up along the inside of the front panel and locate the bottom of the door lock and switch assembly on the right side. Locate the tear-drop shaped tab then gently pull it down until a click is heard, and then open the door.

The door lock and switch assembly may need to be replaced if the problem persists. The replacement procedure is here.

Some
Whirlpool-made Front Loading such as the Kenmore Elite use another type of door lock and switch assembly but still with the release tab and can be accessed through the washer top. Remove the screws attaching the top panel to the rear of the machine then pull the panel rearward and off the cabinet. Pull the release tab until a click is heard then open the door.

Door is locked and won't open,

If it has a drain cleanout which is clogged, it will make the door lock and you have to remove the bottom front access panel and reach up to the door lock and pull on a round plastic release tab to unlock the door and clean the drain cleanout. Or call a certified repair company such as Sears.

Duet washer door locked

After pulling the manual door release by removing the bottom door panel you are able to add 1 cap (1 tbsp) of liquid cooking oil to the water. The cooking oil will greatly reduce the amount of suds so you can complete the cycle.
