if you are having problems with your sound
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps don

What would make dvd player shut off when the vol. Gets up to about 24 or bass hits

A DVD player will skip with vibration. Heavy bass notes can cause this to happen , and it is more likely if the DVD player is on or close by a speaker.

Bass went out

The 15 inch woofer is blown and you are hearing only the tweeter horn. I would definitely check that speaker on something else though, because the amps inside will also blow fairly easy, and you can't get parts for these. I would salvage what you can and move on. If both speakers work alone, check connections and amp. If you find that the 15 does work, then make an unpowered monitor. Behringer does not give any referencing of any parts. They have all special part numbers that you can't crossreference to find replacements. This is a marketing strategy to eliminate others from repairing, so you will buy another one. They think they would sell more but it just turns musicians away from their junk. The only piece of behringer equipment worth using is the FCB1010 controller and nothing else.

Rms b80 bass guitar amp has little volume in the low side jack , hi side jack is fine just not as much bass

The low in side jack has a lower vol. but should only be1/4 less than the high in jack on most amps, --try this,-- plug guitar in high in then take all the treble off and 1/2 mid. range bring up bass range and if you have equauzation bring down 26k 5k 10k about 2 notches or points. See if that give you better bass tone.

I got Alpine MRP-M450 which has three nobs on the side. (1) Gain (2) Bass EQ (3) Filter. The Gain works fine but Bass EQ and Filter nobs are keep spinning when I try to tune. I checked with an Autoshop and...

SOMETIMES THE KNOBS THEMSELVES GET STRIPPED OUT AND THE CONTROL POTENTIOMETERS ARE FINE. YOU WILL HAVE TO INSPECT THIS TO DETERMINE WHICH IS AT FAULT. IF THEY ARE NOT STRIPPED, BUT CONTINUE TO TURN AROUND AND AROUND, THEN THE CONTROL POTENTIOMETERS ARE AT FAULT. LOOK NEAR THE CONTROLS ON THE PC BOARD AND YOU SHOULD SEE THE LOCATION NUMBERS PRINTED ON THE BOARD ITSELF. SEE BELOW FOR THE LOCATION AND PART NUMBERS:
VR101 18E39146S01 VOL,ROTARY 50K
VR102 18E39147S01 VOL,ROTARY 5K
VR103 18E39145S01 VOL,ROTARY 20K
YOU CAN OBTAIN THESE FROM PACIFIC COAST PARTS AT 800-421-5080, BUT YOU NEED TO HAVE SOMEONE QUALIFIED TO REPLACE THEM AS YOU WILL HAVE TO TOTALLY DISASSEMBLE THE AMPLIFIER AND ALSO HAVE GOOD SOLDERING SKILLS. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE....V

I need to know the value pots to buy for vol, bass

If you have the old pots look on the edge of the cans (metal backs) for the code. Take them to a good electronics supplier and they can match them or measure the resistance from each outside pin with all pins free of interconnection. You will also need to know the audio tapers. The supplier should be able to tell from the codes.

Prot. light at High vol. (forget Bass CD)

You may have the speakers wired for the wrong impedance.

How many ohms per voice coil?

How many voice coils per speaker?

If the speakers are DVC, are the coils of each speaker wired in series or parallel?

Are the speakers bridged on the amp or one per channel?
