If you have an installed XP sp2, you can find the product code by using tiny software like cd-keyreader. Google it and download it.Otherwise you have to find 'Must have software 2003 (9123)' which has a copy of windows XP sp2 with keycodes. Or google for apps to find keycodes on the operating system cd itself? Keycodes are specific for operating system, XP is only good for XP.
TO ENTER THE SECURITY KEYCODE FOR A FORD Switch the ignition ON using the key
Switch Radio ON - Display Shows CODE with " - - - - " flashing
Press Preset Button " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit of your KeyCode Press Preset Button " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit of your KeyCode Press Preset Button " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit of your Keycode Press Preset Button " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit of your Keycode If the display now shows the correct KeyCode number then Press Preset Button " 5 " to Enter
Providing your KeyCode was correct then your radio / cassette or CD should now be working

Is that the original cd came off on the box when you buy it. If yes it should be ok.. If not the the cd is wrong..there is no way you can use the cd key anymore. you need a new OE with cd key.
