my averatec 3200 will not boot into windows, it goes in a loop, it will show the Window XP logo but keep rebooting without fully loading the windows. Try to boot with external floppy but it will not recognize the USB floppy but it will recognize USB mouse, it works perfectly.

When turning on my averatec 3200 notebook it never

tap the f8 key as the PC is starting, when you see the startup menu, select,"disable automatic restart on failure", then you will be able to see the "BSOD" (blue screen of death), and it will tell you what the error that is causing it not to boot. you can also choose from the f8 menu "Last Known Good Configuration" and see if it will boot to the desktop, if not try safe mode, with or without network support depending on your preferences, your problem is most likely caused by a recently installed Windows update, or driver update, or some other software install, if its not clear to you from the info you see on the BSOD, try to use the system restore feature, and roll back to a date it was working, if it solves your prob, pleas give me a fixya rating. Thanks

Computer won't start system

in this case you need to boot using OS disc and try pressing R to repair and you will get to command prompt screen and you have to choose 1 and press enter on Admin password. then type chkdsk /r and press enter

it will run a repair on your system. But if in case it does not work in that case you need to reinstall everything back on the system.

Laptop Averatec 3200 PC Notebook

Try having the problem devices turned on and plugged into the USB port(s) and then start or restart your PC.

This should cause Windows to recognize them and install drivers if available from its library.

It may also ask for an installation disk if it cannot identify the device.

My Averatec turns on to the logo screen but keeps resarting

dude heres the deal the blue screen is from a lack of ram simple as that. just add more ram and you shouldn't have that problem anymore. then when the computer starts up reset the page file to double the amount of your ram. that should get rid of the blue screen and you should have a running unit. if this doesn't work then you are best off reinstalling the OS.
