Hello, my phone is samsung Jet s8000
it charges fine and also turns on okay, but once it is turned on the touch screen does not work, so basically it is frozen on the main menu screen, also the buttons of the phone does not work either, so i dont know what to do?
Please can you help me, as do i need a new screen for my phone or anything else?

Hello, Try to use PUK code from your sim card to unlock samsung jet s8000 password.Just type any password until your screen asking PUK code, then enter you puk code to your phone. This method should be unlock samsung phone from old password. If still not working you just have one option left, reflash it. Good luck!
Try restarting the phone and calling Samsung support. The digitizer or maybe even the lcd may be broken. You can look on ifixit.com for parts and instructions
basically ur qwerty kernel is all buggered. i suggest flashing the phone youll find a step by step guide via a search online. look for something like samsung s8000 flash guide?
The touchscreen connector has come loose.
It's a small flatcable which connects the digitizer (touch screen) with the pcb on the back of the screen.
It's repairable, however you need to disassemble the complete phone.
