The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

I don't know how to transfer pictures from my camara to my USB and then to computer or how to transfer pictures from my USB to computer (ie. don't know how to transfer to dBay). Thank you!

Sorry, but the answer you seek is much too long for this site. You need to sit down with the instruction book for your camera and then the help section for beginners on the Ebay site.

Hi, I believe you don't need a driver. I don't know what kind of CD burner Software you got. If the file you are trying burn to CD or DVD the format file it might be different, that will not show nor transfer. Also if you trying to transfer files that is larger than the CD capacity, that will not transfer. Please check what kind of file and if this is a straight data format make sure what that you don't go over the CD capacity and should work. Get back to us if this information help you solve the problem or not.

I am trying to transfer files from pc to droid. I

  1. Connect Droid to the PC or Mac with USB cable. Obviously the same USB that came with your Droid
  2. Tab or click on the USB connected notification. To access notifications you need to click at the status bar on the top of the screen and drag it down.
  3. Click on Mount
  4. Now Droid will appear on your computer. For PC Droid will appear under Computer and for Mac the phone will appear on the desktop.
  5. Now transfer the files just as your do normally copy and paste
  6. When done, go to the notifications and now touch on turn off USB storage.
I am guessing you still have your usb storage on and it is reading that, when done remove it properly and see what happens

I am trying to copy my pictures from my motorola razor phone to my pictures on my computer, the USB in connected to my razor and pc (tower). When viewing my pics on cell phone, I select copy it displays...

Hello,

Did you create a folder on your computer that you want to save the picture? if no, create a folder, after creating the, open the folder, now go back to copy the picture, and paste in the folder you created for the picture, the picture should display.

Did your phone come with a USB cable? if so, even try uploading them without a CD because your computer can recognize it as a new device without any installation CD.
Another way is, do you have free text? If you do then you can send you pictures to your e-mail address, once you receive it in your e-mail, you can right click on the picture and hit “save as” and save it onto your computer. You can also do it if you don’t have free text but it’ll probably cost you depending on service charge and how many pictures you have to send..

Take care.

I am using pc to pc file transfer for dummies I know how to hook it to both computers but I have no idea how to drag files I have windows vista

Windows Easy Transfer is installed with Vista and can be found under Accessories - System Tools or by searching for "easy" (with out quotes).

You can transfer files and settings using a network share, or transfer files and settings using removable media such as CD/DVD, or an external hard drive.
Windows Easy Transfer does not migrate installed applications (see Windows Easy Companion below)
Using Windows Easy Transfer, you can migrate most files and program settings. Below is a table describing the types of data and settings that can be moved.

Data Type Specifics Files and Folders Any files found in My Documents, My Pictures, and Shared Documents folder will be selected to be moved automatically. You can also add other documents that are in other locations. E-mail messages and Settings E-mail messages, contacts, account settings, and address books from Outlook Express, Outlook, Windows Mail, and other programs. Program Settings Programs that are compatible with Vista will have their settings transferred to the new Computer. In order for this to work the program must already be installed on the Computer running Vista. User Settings Desktop settings, color settings, screen savers, fonts, Windows options, printers, etc. Internet Settings Favorites, cookies, and Internet Explorer settings. Pictures, Video, and Music Music files, playlists, and album. Pictures (gif, jpg, bmp files) and personal videos.

Please don't forgert to rate this.....
