You must keep the batteries out for a few minutes and unplugged then re plug to a new usb port. hit the connect/ reset button on reciever alone with batteries still out of remote then put the new batteries in (lights come on remote you know you have good batteries) and then hit connect on that. that should work if not you must hit connect at the exact same time. thats how i fixed mine.
there wireless but do they have a dongle that connects via usb to the computer that they connect to wirelessly ?
no, it is literally just the computer screen, keyboard and mouse
ok do this press the button on the bottom of the mouse and keyboard they are there that will recconnect them unless the batteries are dead. just tested this out @ bestbuy for you lol
that is the problem I have tried to reconnect them via the "connect" buttons at the bottom of the keyboard and mouse. I've pressed both of them down simultaneously for three seconds, I've done this a fair bit, but nothing is working. The light is on, on the underside of the mouse but nothing is happening. I have replaced the batteries, but that didn't work either. I have checked the mouse and keyboard on the computer using my tablet to see if the computer said they weren't responding, but the computer said that they were working, and that I have the most up to date drivers...so I am kind of stumped right now, lol.
dont press them at the same time. reboot the computer take out the batteries. turn on the computer. but in batteries to mouse first connect it. if that works then do the keyboard.
I tried your suggestion. That didn't work either.
What is the make of your keyboard and mouse? As far as I know there has to be some sort of receiver(USB connected) to the tower to read signal from the witeless components. Is this a new item and did you get an installation cd with it?
one last thing i called them up on your behalf and they said you may have to plug in a wired mouse and re-install the drivers from there website for the wireless mouse and keyboard connection but they really reccommend unplugging the pc for a few minutes then during boot up press both buttons at the same time and press them at the same time again after boot up. they also said if you have a wired mouse plug it and then try and connect the two wireless ones. let me know i been researching this for hours now for you if it doesnt work i am truely sorry if you could find it in the kindness of your heart to give me a nice review by click my name bc i really tried i would appreciate it.
