Hello, It is not 25 digits, but 5 groups of 5 letters and digits. Usually it is on a sticker label, affixed on the jewel case (the plastic box) or on the inside of the box. On the top right side it says Microsoft. The disposition may change. On the top left side of the label, there is the outline of a black key and PRODUCT KEY to the right of the key Under the 25 character string , there is a code bar, and under the code bar the words Proof of Licence.
The product key must be purchased or you shold have received it with your software purchase. If the software came packaged with your computer, contact the computer manufacturer.
After the free trial expires, a license must be purchased.
If you have a legitimate copy of Office Home and Student edition, the product key is on the CD case. If you lost the case, you might be able to contact Microsoft for a new key (For a fee)
