Just go to Settings > Restore Factory Settings then your phone will be formatted.
You may also want to update the software.
Download the Nokia Software Updater on your computer.
Plug the phone. Make sure it is set on General.
Connect using the PC Suite mode.
Run the Nokia Software Updater, select to download the firmware for your phone then just follow the instructions.
Hii..before formating ur phone u can create the backup cause aftr formating everything wil be changed n datas wil be deleted in phone memory..
So try to create a backup den format or restore it by settings->restore factory settings->reset all
then enter your security code
Hi,the easiest way of formating for phones memory card is Go to the menu then gallery then come on to memory card then option then go down,you will see format memory card then select it your memory card will be formated.

Full format solution for NOKIA
Switch-off your phone.
1. Press andhold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press thepower on/off to swtich on the phone. Remember, do not let go the 3 press andhold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!
2. After a few minutes whenthe Full phone formatting completed, your phone will back to original systemand factory settting
