Hi,
Firstly try plugging the power cod from your PC into the monitor and power it on. Are there any LED lights on your monitor? If there is, then all you need to do is replace the power cord with a new one.
If there aren't any, it means that your CRT's internal power supply unit is dead and needs to be replaced. However, replacing these parts can be quite costly and involves labor charges since your monitor is out of warranty. I highly recommend that you look into the option of purchasing a new LCD monitor as these are pretty cheap nowadays.
Anyway, here is the service centre in Bangalore dealing with Samsung monitors:
#8 WOC Road, Mahalaxmipuram Post Near Swathi Hotel, Bangalore - 560085 KARNAKATA

Why is my refurbished Compaq WNG monitor going off?

From the description the problem is in the power supply board, there are probably one or more bad capacitors that have opened, sometimes they bulge at the top making it easier to spot. If you hire a shop to repair this they will charge, and on top of that the monitor is at least 5 years old before you got it, I would replace the monitor.

My HP Pavilion PC will not start. The on button indicates it is on but it is not. Monitor says "no signal". The power supply failed a few years ago and it was replaced. Do you think this is what happened...

I do not know exactly what is going on with your computer, but if the light by the power button comes on and stays on then you can try pulling the ram out of it and then put it back in. A few years ago i had a compaq computer and all of a sudden it would not come on but the light by the power button was on. I thought the computer was shot but i contacted a tech and he told me to pull the ram out and put it back in. I did this and the computer came back to life and worked fine. Good luck. I hope this works for you.

Computer monitor don't work at all.

So basically your monitor's power supply system died.
Nothing much a non-technician could do about it.
Get it repaired, if under warranty, get a replacement before the coverage duration expires.

No power in the Monitor

Sounds like a fairly drastic fault, possibly in the power supply section. Probably not worth fixing with the cost of new LCD screens, but maybe worth asking at a local repair place.

Screen goes bank after 2 seconds even if powder light is on

i just finished repairing a 20 inch acer monitor that had the same issue.... you have to take it apart and examine the power supply side of the monitor. there are capacitors that go bad on that board. you can tell be feeling the tops of them... the feel rounded. replace the capacitors and put it back together and it will work fine

Screen flashes "on" and then goes black on start up...

This is usually a bad capacitor problem. They would need to be replaced, or get a new monitor. Some shops will work on them, but you have to weigh the cost vs buying a new monitor for almost the same price.

There are some websites on repairing your own, but you need to know a bit about soldering and such.

No Display on my Samsung 204B monitor

If you know how to open it up and get to the power supply you will find three capacitors 2-820uf and 1-330 @ 25vdc 105o.they will have puffed up tops replace them. FYI the monitor has a 3 year warranty.
