Our Rimage Everest II doens't print anymore. It produces only white DVD's. You can hear that the machine is doing something but there is neither a print on the CMY-Sheet nor on the ReTransfer-

Most likely the printhead is bad and needs replacing.

Using CD Designer I try to print my disc on my Everest II printer and it appears to be printing and then the tray opens and the disc is blank - "no image printed on the disc" I do not get any...

Check the ribbons. If your CD image is still on the color ribbon your print head is probably bad. If the image is on the transfer ribbon replace the heat roller.

My rimage is printing but there is an 1in mark that appears on all my disk what can it be.....it's almost like its on a roll or something every 5in roll u get the markl..i install new ribbon and...

Is there anyway you can send a picture of the disc with the bad print? It may be a worn our roller which is an easy fix.

No Printing at all. Status monitor just stays at "Heater warming up, please wait" Log file states: CD Printing completed ???

Hi, I had the same problem with my Rimage Everest and Prism printers. I had loads of problems with them. I managed to solve the problem by contacting these guys, www.rpadistribution.com They were really helpful and I must admit I can not remember what they did but they talked me through some processes with me and managed to get them both working for me together on the same PC

Why does my printer takes ages to print a disc

The printer will take about 5 min to print the first disc as it needs to warm up and then every disc after will take 60 ~ 90 seconds depending on the quality settings.

Having problems with the rimage everest printing vertical streaks a lighter shade of the color that should be printing

The rollers under the Transfer ribbon is dirty, I am sure if you look at the streaking it will line up with these rollers. Clean them with alcohol.

Rimage Everest

Rimage has made alot improvements with their latest Everest 600 printer when it comes to color density and accuracy (the Everest II is now 2 genereations old).

Hello Chris_sizer,

Open the side of the printer that holds the ribbons.

Remove both the CMY and the Retransfer Ribbon.

There is a metal plate under where the CMY ribbon goes in that has 3 screws, two are located tward the front and one is located on the back wall on a metal tab.

Remove these three screws and the plate.

Now you can remove any debris or discs that are blocking the tray movement.
