I believe the rubber roller that feeds the paper in my Casio HR 8L calculator has come off. How do I replace it, the paper will not feed now.

I fixed. Opening the calculator the roller was melted, removed all posible residual and then cut 3 1/2” of electric tape and split about the wide of the roller and roll on the roller in the same way that it move to feed the paper.Casio NR-8TE AND IS WORKING FINE NOW.

I had the same problem. The rubber roller that grabs the paper was sticky, soft, and fragile. It did not turn when the shaft turned. I wish I knew what kind of electrical tape Luis wound onto the shaft to make a usable roller. Even if the part were available, it would be a tough job to install a new roller. Too bad to toss this marvel of microengineering on account of one lousy rubber part.

I don't know this particular calc very well, but on most calcs, the paper feeds between the rubber one and a plastic idler roller that is on a shaft below the rubber one. if you can see the rubber roller turning, check the plastic one as it can sometimes slide to one side or the other, and bind up causing paper to not feed. you can usually get at it with a small screwdriver or something like that and center it back and that will take care of problem.

The rubber roller disintegrated leaving a residue which I cleaned off. I just don't know where to find a suitable replacement as Casio does not provide parts to this machine any longer.

I have the same roller disintegration, were you able to locate a part? chris

I have the black residue on the roller, too. I have to pull the paper up each time I enter anything. No replacement parts? my plastic pressure piece is centered, no probem there.

How do I insert new roll of paper into Casio printing calculator HR-8L?

Hi,

please unscrew the back and attempt to feed the paper in from that side. If you're having issues with orientation of the paper, please refer to the table of contents in the product manual in order to get the proper orientation.

Thank you.

It won't feed. How do I install the paper?

Try clean the tiny black roller in the back of the black plastic (see picture). It doesn't pick up the paper when it's too dirty and dusty. I wetted a tiny piece of paper towel with alcohol, pressed it on the roller and pressed the "feed" button so that the roller spins and gets clean up. Hope it helps.

I have a borrowed Casio FR 105S printing calculator. How do I load the paper?

Make sure the paper has a straight clean edge. Feed the paper into the slot in the back - make sure the paper is straight. Paper will go in about 1/4 inch. Push the feed button and the paper should feed through the printer.

How to load the paper into casio hr 100T . My son just came home with this old model. It has paper provided but no instructions. How do we get the paper to feed and in what directions does it need to be...

I have a casio HR-100 TM. After spending over an hour, and scouring the casio website which had an obscure spot that covered a totally different calculator!.... I found a slot in the back of the machine that when I folded the paper into an arrow, FINALLY went in! You may have to try a few times, but it will go in just keep holding down the feed button as you push and jiggle the paper.

Loading Paper into a Casio Calculator

This isn't too complicated. And for the lazy guy that just put a phone number for the fix, what the heck do we need FixYa for anyway? :\ For cryin' out loud! :) )

1. Slide the clear plastic cover toward the back to remove and flip of the metal spool holder up. Place the roll of paper on the holder. (Make sure the paper drops off the "back" of the spool for proper feed.)

2. Feed the paper into the bottom slot at the **** end of the calculator.

3. Feed the paper through that bottom slot along the inside case under the black guide inside. If you tilt the calculator correctly, you can look inside and see there is a way to slide the paper under the guide.

4. Making sure the paper slides as far as it can, press the FEED button until the paper starts feeding.

5. Feed enough paper to slide through the clear plastic cover and you're all set.

This isn't factory, it's just what I figured out playing with the thing. If you can think of a better way of explaining the procedure, by all means edit this and post!

God bless!!
