Connect the camera to your PC by USB. Power on the computer. If there is any driver installed to your present operating system [at its driver cab], the operating system will auatomatically detect your camera.
If there is no driver installed, the system will ask the driver to be installed. Insert the CD along with you have got with the camera, which will have drivers on it, just follow the screen instructions. Get the camera connected to system, and not unplug it till the driver to it being installed. OK

press and hold down Fn+Esc button this should turn on the camera if turned Off vice versa.
check the camera drivers as well if installed or not.

I would like to help you in using your webcam on your Lenovo G450. Let me first start in giving you important information. Webcams can be used if these 2 are present, the Camera Driver and the Camera Software. Both are pre-installed to your Lenovo laptop. Please follow the steps below that will help you use your webcam:

1. Start with the basic. Make sure that your webcam is turned on. To do that, press Fn+Esc. On the lower right side of your monitor a camera icon will appear:

• Camera with a slash - means it's off.
• Camera without the slash - means it's on. ( So make sure it's on)

2. After making sure that your camera is on, now look for the Camera Software. With this certain type of model it usually goes with a software called Easy Capture. If non it could be Cyberlink YouCam.

• You can see this software on your desktop.
• Or, when you go to Start > All Programs > Lenovo folder > Easy Capture or You Cam.

To launch it just double click on the icon, you can now enjoy using your webcam.

Based on your concern, I suggest trying the following steps:

1. Make sure that the updated driver has been installed on your computer.
--> you can download it here:
--> go to camera section and make sure you download the driver that matches your operating system.

2. After downloading, install the driver then restart your computer.

3. Log back in then try pressing the FN+ESC to activate the camera.

4. Now try to use easy capture to check if the camera is working.
--> easy capture is a preloaded application in your system.
--> if you cant find easy capture, you can download it here:
--> go to software section.
--> again make sure that you download the application that matches your operating system.

5. repeat step 2 and 3 then open the easy capture.

Make sure your camera is enabled by holding the Fn+ESC after doing so, try using the camera. if that doesn't work go to the link below and download the camera driver.

Go to control pannel system device manager check that the devise driver is installed if not go here
