Photo problem. sony cyber-shot 10.1 MP silver touch screen

I made the mistake of deleting a really important picture from the memory stick while it was still in the camera but the photo is still in the cameras internal memory. I have the USB cable for it but I lost my manual so I have no idea if I can get that photo back and upload it onto my computer. I can view the picture on the CAMERA when I place the memory stick into the computer it dose not show the picture. when i used the USB cord i had a hard time trying to figure out what to do and what buttons to press. the photo was protected for a short time untill someone said that i could just unprotect it and upload it...that didnt work. please!!! I need your help!

I think I replied this post! Take out memory stick and connect camera with PC without memory stick. Go to pic folder and copy it. Simple :D

I have a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-F717 5.0 MP Digital Camera and when I turn it on I get a memory error. I have tried swapping out the memory but I still get a memory error. Any suggestions?

Try this:

First, make sure you have a copy of all important pictures i your computer.

Then, reinsert your memory stick into your camera and format it "using your camera".

I took about 200 pictures before my sony cyber shot indicated I had a format error. I took memory stick to a photo store and they tried using two different programs and couldnt recover any of my pictures....

The camera may display a FORMAT ERROR if the inserted media is not formatted or if the media was formatted ona Computer. This error may also display if the inserted media is notsupported by the camera.

Yes, It may be possible to recover deleted pictures by using the MemoryStick File Rescue application. This software is available as a freedownload from the Sony eSupport Web site by clicking the followinglink: Memory Stick File Rescue.

My sony dsc-s730 camera comes up with file error and a blue screen when i look back at some pictures taken, i keep losing really good pics to it how do i fix this?

Format memory card and check, if problem exist then replace memory card in camera.
Note: Format will delete all photo data on memory card so copy photo files before format.

Pictures deleted from memory stick duo

If you have access to a computer then download PCInspector for www.convar.com This will recover lost images on media card so long as they not been overwritten. How this works out with a PSP I would not know.
