It has disable, along with 3 other keys. My parents' wireless connection is password protected (which I have the password), but I'm not sure which encryption method I choose, and if I put the password in the "passphrase" (which says I can't leave key 1 blank), or if I put the password in the key 1 box, and leave the passphrase box blank. If I put the password in the passphrase box, I clicked on generate...and it didn't work.

this is just easy.. what you should type is the encryption key only... if your security is wep, only the encryption key or key 1 is needed. if your security is wpa, only the passphrase is needed.. it is very CASE SENSITIVE.. but if you see that the name has changed to LINKYS_SES, then you have a problem there because your wireless settings has changed due to the button on your router which is the secure easy set-up on the upper left corner which is the cisco button.

Alright, it was a dumb thing to do....just make sure you use internet explorer...It works in there...don't ask why lol....I have no idea :D

Run the network tests from within the 360 menus - looking especially at the result for network address translation (NAT). If this is either limited or fail, you will need to change your router for one which is compatible with xbox live. Try xbox.com to work out which routers are recommended.

As far as your router kicking him when you connected your pc, then you must have altered the access permissions of the router maybe by accident.

If all else fails, turn off the pc, router, modem and 360. Find the reset button on your router and press/hold this for at least five seconds. Turn on the modem, then the router. Let that settle for a minute, then connect and setup 360 and laptop.
