Bulb is probably dead, you can find a bulb online and put it into the TV. Refer to page 79 of your owner's manual to see how to disassemble the TV(available online here).

I have the same problem. After power on I just get a blue screen and no sound.
I can get a piture and sound if i do the following.
Leave the TV on for a minute or two then unplug the power while still on. Plug back in and power on. I begin to get sound, repeat and then I get a picture for a few moments then blue again. Repeat and then I get constant picture with defunct colors. I then use the remote to power off and back on an color corrects. sometimes have to repeat this as well. Sometimes it takes unplugging, replugging, and powering on up to five times before i can sit down to watch tv.
if you've tried 2 other super nes' and still no picture and sound.. don't you think it's the "yellow, red, white" cables that might be an issue? doesn't sound like a power cord is the issue at all if it's getting power to the "red light".... get a new y,r,w cable (sry.. tired and forget the name)
Most likely you have capacitors in the power supply that have dried out or as we say vented. If your handy and want to replace the power supply I suggest " Shopjimmy.com ". If not, then take into your local service center for an estimate first.
