Question about Pioneer DEH-1300 CD Player

How to integrate the pioneer deh-1300mp into a 96 Dodge 2500 Centurion diesel truck to replace a radio/cassette player.

The simplest way to swap the stock radio out for the cassette player would be to go to a radioshack or bestbuy, normally they will carry a double-din to single-din adapter so that the smaller after market radio fits into the existing location snugly. They usually also carry a wiring harness adapter that will plug right into your dodges existing harness and you can just wire nut or solder & shrink wrap the adapter to the pioneers harness, saves a lot of time and insures everything is where it needs to be.
Normally you can get both adapters for under $15, hope this is helps.

Simple to do....Find a switched source for 12 volts....Usually at the fuse panel...This connects to red wire on radio. The orange will need constant 12 volts. You can usually tap into lighter wire.

Hi suddenly my car radio went to mute and i dont know how to turn it off, i didn't even know that it had mute as there is no mute button. i checked the owners manual and there is nothing about mute!!...

There should be a button labeled ATT that is your mute button. Att is short for attenuation.

I have installed my new Pioneer DEH-1300MP and sometimes its turn off itself and when I turn it on again its like in factory conditions, please heeelp!

You might want to check your connection on the yellow wire to make sure it is not loose or has a bad connection.
