I have the peavey xr 8600 and i wanna know how to connect an additional non powerd mixer to it ( i wanna use the peavey as an amp??

That is standard UK wiring.

Brown in Live.
Blue is Neutral / Return.

5 amp fuse in tray located at the back of the amp just above the power connector.

You would come out of the Main output on the front of the mixer into the line in on the Bose.

This is the amp capacity, 600W @4 Ohm, so you just have to drive them below full power to avoid excessive distortion, but certainly you will play a bit loud.

The fuse is probably placed near the power cable entrance in the power amp.
Pick it up from it's placing dock and look for the wire inside. If the wire is whole, the fuze is fine, however, if the wire inside the fuze is missing or burned, the fuze needs to be replaced.

The owners manual shows a AC fuse for the 8300 as 8amp / 250 volts but doesn't show an external fuse holder for the 8600d. It's unlikely that the 8300 would use a 8amp and your 8600 a 1.6 amp. Double check your original fuse values.

You CAN drive the power amps from the main amp inout jacks BUT the rest of the inout of the 8600 would be dead then. You can connect the L and R from the FX24 to either the media RCA jacks or into the channel9/10 jacks. FOr the latter, use TRS cables. Leave the two selection buttons in the up position.

If you run the speakers FROM the main you should have BOTH the effects and the EQ invilved with your signal.

Chances are one of the power amps has shorted. Replacing the fuse probably fried additional components. Unless you are electronically adept this is NOT a DIY repair.

Expect that this is going to be an expensive repair as often quite a few transistors and other components fry when one goes in these power amps.

The monitors will have to be POWERED monitors with built in amps.

You can simply use a wye splitter cable to drive the two monitors. Run the cable from the mixer to one monitor and put a wye cable and an extention to the second powered monitor speaker.
