I've had this same problem before. Head all the way to the left at the main PS3 menu and check to make sure your system is up to date. If it isn't, update it.

If it is up to date, turn off the system AND unplug it from the wall. Plug it back in and try again. That should reset the hardware if thats the issue. Also, use trial and error and try other games and other multiplayer modes, it could be your disk.

Your wireless router is loosing enough packets to drop the connection. for a test try to use a cable to connect your ps3 and see if you still get kicked. if not then consider running a cable or replaing your router.

How do you get the internet on this my says no compatible access point in range check your connection setting under internet opion and try again error code 051099

Unable to use your wireless signal
Likely cause: It appears that the settings entered into the Nintendo DS are not compatible, or the router's broadcast settings should be changed.
How to fix: Try creating a new connection with your system. Nintendo DSi owners trying to play multiplayer games will want to be sure to read the "Trying to play online multiplayer with Nintendo DSi."

  1. Create a new connection: This error can occur if a setting (like your network's name) has changed since you last connected. If it's been awhile since you connected, or if this is your first time connecting, creating a new connection file will often resolve this error code. Click the button below for your system and we'll walk you through the connection step-by-step.

Trying to play online multiplayer with Nintendo DSi
Even if you are able to connect online and use other online features of the Nintendo DSi, if you are attempting to play multiplayer games but are receiving error code 51099 when you try and connect, then your router is likely using a security type - WPA - that is not compatible with Nintendo DS Game Cards.
Try this:
If you are sure you are using WPA, click here for more information including alternative connection methods. If you're not sure if you're using WPA, you can find out by going into the connection settings on your Nintendo DSi and doing a search for an access point. Follow these steps:
  1. Turn on your Nintendo DSi and access the System Settings by clicking on the wrench icon

mr_fix3er_0.png 2- Scroll over to the third page, and select "Internet."

mr_fix3er_1.png 3-Now choose "Connection Settings."

mr_fix3er_2.png4-Click on "None" for "Connection 1."
mr_fix3er_3.png 5-Click on "Search for an Access Point."

mr_fix3er_4.png 6-The Nintendo DSi will search for any wireless networks within range. Once it is finished searching, it will display the names of all the wireless networks it finds. Look for your wireless network.

7-What to do next will depend on the "lock" icon you see next to your network on the Nintendo DSi.

mr_fix3er_5.png No security - This connection type is compatible with Nintendo DS Game Card online multiplayer.

mr_fix3er_6.pngWEP - This connection type is compatible with Nintendo DS Game Card online multiplayer.

mr_fix3er_7.pngWPA - This connection type is not compatible with Nintendo DS Game Card online multiplayer. Security will need to be changed to WEP or turned off in order to play online. Click here for more info.

  • Other suggestions :
  • Make sure your router is set to broadcast in "b" or "mixed" mode. If your wireless router is transmitting in "N" only mode, you will need to switch it to "b/g" or "mixed" mode. For help accessing your router's settings, click here and select your router brand and model (if available). Most routers will have this setting in the "broadcast settings" menu.
    • Check for wireless interference, which can affect the signal strength to the Nintendo DS. To help minimize wireless interference, try the following:
      • Make sure other wireless devices such as cordless phones or wireless speakers are turned off, and that the Nintendo DS is an open area without objects or electronics blocking the signal.
      • Change your router's channel setting to 1 or 11. By default, most routers broadcast on channel 6, which overlaps with other channels and may be weaker. For help doing this, click here and select your router brand and model (if available). The information you need is found in the "Broadcast Channel:" area.
  • Still stuck? We can help! We have found that simply erasing the old connection file and creating a new connection to your router may help. Click the button below for a step-by-step guide. If at the end you still need help, you'll find contact information to reach our specially-trained representatives. Click the button below for your system and we'll walk you through the connection step-by-step.

Hi tabia tabz, Nintendo has an excellent walk-through on fixing just that issue. Instead of just re-ryping their information I will post it exactly as they had it because they offer very nice images of exactly what you need to do each step which should help you alot.

How can I play Conflict Global Storm online

You need to have GameSpy account to play multiplayer internet
If your old GameSpy account refuces to login, just stop fighting with it and make a new one because this game has issues with too old GameSpy accounts.
If you get error message about friends list when you try to log in GameSpy account, you need to remove some friends from your GameSpy account friends list or just create new GameSpy account with no-one on friends list.
To host and join multiplayer you have make sure you have public IP, because this game requires a lot of open ports (see manual page 17).

I had a linksys "g" router hooked up to a wireless desktop and a PS3. i got about a 65-75% signal strength on both.my online gaming was fine, but i would start the matches late and sometimes have a...

The lag could be because of a latency between your router and the gaming servers you are connecting to. Not a whole lot you can do about that.
FYI, signal strength of 65-75% isn't bad at all and shouldn't have a significant impact on your wireless performance. Keep in mind that your internet connection is usually the bottleneck for performance. If your wireless runs at 54Mbps with 100% signal strength, when you lose signal, it reduces the performance of your wireless. For example, if you were to get to 40% signal strength, your performance could be reduced to only 11Mbps. While that is a drastic drop for your local LAN performance, 11Mbps is still faster than the vast majority of internet providers currently have, so your in-game performance shouldn't change, based on less signal strength or less bandwidth.
As for your "N" router, if you have a 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz cordless phone in the location where you installed the router, there is a chance that it is conflicting with that frequency. Since you don't have that problem on your "G" router, I can only deduce that if this is the problem, you have a 5Ghz phone, since "G" operates only at 2.4Ghz. If you still have the "N" router, disconnect the phone, re-install the "N" router and see if that fixes your problem. If it does, then you may want to either stick to the "G" router anyway or upgrade your phone to the newer "wireless friendly" 6Ghz phones.

    "cannot connect to gamesession"

I don't think the game allows online play with 2 same cd keys...
I'm not allowed to advise you to get another cd key from the net, because that is illegal.
I guess you will need another copy of the game to play multiplayer.

    Nintendo ds lite 2 player

First, it depends on what game it is, NOT ALL GAMES have a DS Download feature.

If you are using a game with the DS Download feature, have the host DS set up the game, this would just be going through the multiplayer then DS Download function.

Next, make sure you both are in the same area (10 or so feet), basically if you can be in the DS Chat with your Local Wireless Connection, you can use your DS Download feature.

While the host DS is sending the signal, the other DS will have a feature in the main DS menu (If you have auto-start on, hold start while starting up the DS and going past the warning screen), it will be called DS Download Play.

Have the person receiving the signal click that option and their DS will search for any games being sent in the general area. Then all the person with the receiving DS has to do is click the icon and he/she will connect with the hosting DS.

The receiving DS will not keep the game on the hardrive on the DS, but he/she will be able to play with you; your best bet however is to get a second cartridge, but that part is your call.
