My Yp-Z5AB won't connect to the computer

When i plug in m mp3 is says connecting but then it went back to the menu screen. my computer doesnt find my mp3. and when i check my songs they dont apear but when i check the capcicity its like the songs are still there.

Yep same here I've tried to connect with both laptop and desktop pc at work but nothing. If I check music and browse files they are all there and they will play happily so I guess I will just have to use it this way. Will keep looking and post back if I find anything. Mind you it's a good excuse to have to buy a new one !!!

Wite screen

use a small paper clip and just to the side of the connection for the usb port on the player, you will see a little hole.... only large enough for a small needle...or a small paper clip end.. stick it in there and push one time.. and you will either feel it click or hear a click and your player screen should go blank.. you just reset the program in your player and this should solve your problem.

Mp3 player keeps saying finishing and won't finish, and says connecting but not connected

instead of syncing, you can drag and drop the files, just click "open files to view storage", when you plug it in, then drag stuff from the media player onto the mp3 player's file

YP-Z5 Not Charging

How many hours did you charged the unit before this issue occur? because if you h8ave charged the unit for longer that 4hrs, then the problem is you have over charged the unit, if so your unit needs service.

Usb connection issues

its not your computer its the firmware you can go to samsung .com and get a older version of the firmware and put it in yourself you might haft to put it in the wma only mode to do this

I can't connect my samsung yp-z5 to the computer!!!

Try installing the Samsung Media package supplied with the player. Then restart your PC - all programs should then recognise the YP-Z5

see the reset button on the bottom? press it. mite have to use a sharp pencil or a pin.

Wont connect to my computer:@

Have you downloaded, windows media player 10 or 11, because if you have a different version of windows media it won't work. I had the same problem, but it was fixed in seconds!!

It wont turn on to the main menu, it only says samsug

use the USB cord, then plug you mp3 into the computer, in a few seconds the welcome screem will be showing, then you let the mp3 charge, then it will work properly... that's what happened to me
