Tip #1: Cut down of the programs and processes running in the background.--When you start your computer many unnecessary processes are loaded. You can eliminate this by managing your msconfig.
Here is how: 1. Open your Start menu. 2. Click Run 3. In the command screen type "msconfig.exe" 4. In the system configuration utility, click either service or startup tab. 5. Uncheck all programs that your are no longer want to run in the background. 6. Click OK
Tip #2: Defrag your Computer--The faster your computer can find
files the quicker it can shutdown. A very slow computer shutdown can
be the result of your hard drive trying to search for disorganized and
fragmented files that it needs for shutdown . Organize your hard drive
by performing a defragmentation. Here is how: 1. Open the Start Menu 2. Click on My Computer 3. Right Click your C: drive or your hard drive image. 4. Scroll down to the Properties and Click 5. In the Properties Menus, Open the Tools menu. 6. Choose Defragment Now. 7. In the Disk Deframenter menu. Click on Defragment
Tip #3: Clean your Registry- Usually slow computer shutdown often occurs due to a corrupted registry. You should perform a registry clean, use RegInOut to fix this issue instantly.
it sounds like your phone has to much in the memory and is not running freely. consider your phone like a computer, you need a certain amount of space free on your hard drive to allow the operating system to run freely. if you have installed many games and photos and movies...remove some and see if your performance gets better. another solution is that your battery could be loosing power from age. replace the battery and your phone will perform better witha new battery.
download atf cleaner to the desktop of the slow computer. open it , check the box that says "select all" then click on "clean selected". the first time you run this, it may take a few minutes. this program empties all the junk internet explorer saves, which reduces bandwidth issues. I run mine everytime i get off the internet. after the first run, it runs much quicker, and always run it twice or until you get the message "no files were removed" if you can't get to this point, you should run your virus scanner in safe mode. if your getting fast internet on the other three computers , it's not your provider, it's something between your router and your monitor, usually trash your web browser is trying to update while you are trying to surf.www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=1
run this program , post again here if you need further assistance..
Regards..
1) Go to "Control Panel" 2) Go to "Mouse" 3) There should be a slider bar that says "Slow" "Fast" just make it slower an it will slow down the mouse.
If this is only happening sometimes, it could be that your system is bogged down. You could try closing a bunch of programs that are loading on startup or getting more ram for your machine.
